Well why is it taking so long for wireless home theatre products to come to market? Consumers want wireless HD. Consumers need wirless HDMI. Whatever you call it, wirelessHD is coming.
According to the online encylopdia Wikipedia, consumer electronics manufacturers such as Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, LG and others are working on a standard to be finalized this year for a way to wirelessly transmit high definition (HD) content between devices such as DVD Players, Plamsa TVs, LCD monitors, audio receivers wirelessly.
Wireless High Def is different from Wireless USB, Ultrawide Band, Bluetooth and other wireless specifications. It's clear consumers want these types of products. We just wish the haggling over the final spec. would be quicker so we can put those new wireless home theatre players into operation in our home theatres!
